Description

sample-inserts5-foster-kit-ofi Bayat came into OFI’s care when she was only a few months old. Still a baby today, she relies heavily on the love and care of her caregivers. With her quirky personality, Bayat is an incredibly endearing orangutan. On hot days, she loves to be fanned by her caregivers. When they do this, she will stand up and stretch out her arms, almost as if she is trying to catch the wind. Although Bayat is a bit hesitant in forest school, she will climb under the watchful eyes of her caregivers.

Additional information

Why Foster an Orangutan?

By becoming an Orangutan Foster Parent, you will help care for the displaced and orphaned orangutans at the OFI Care Centre and Quarantine (OCCQ) facility, during their rehabilitation back to the wild. As a Foster Parent you will contribute to providing the medical, dietary and emotional care that the orangutans need to thrive. Your foster purchase is also tax-deductible and you will be sent an official tax acknowledgment letter from OFI.

What is included in a kit?

Each Foster Parent Intro Kit includes an adoption certificate, the biography of your foster orangutan, a recent photo of your foster orangutan, an information sheet about orangutans, and other promotional materials. Foster Parents receive updates every six months with a progress report on how their orangutan is doing as well as a new photo.
