Transport yourself to the rainforests of Borneo with world-renowned primatologist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas. Join us in watching the documentary film Born To Be Wild and discover orangutans and the important work of Orangutan Foundation International.

Born to be Wild is an inspired story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them-saving endangered species one life at a time. Captured in IMAX 3D, Born to be Wild is a heartwarming adventure into the lush rainforests of Borneo with acclaimed primatologist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas, and across the rugged Kenyan savannah with celebrated elephant authority Dame Daphne Sheldrick, as they and their teams rescue, rehabilitate and return these incredible animals back to the wild.

“What I have learned from orangutans is that we humans must not turn our backs on our own biological heritage”. – Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas

All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly to Orangutan Foundation International Canada in support of their continued dedication to the conservation of wild orangutans and their rainforest habitat.
