Home to wild orangutans and countless other endangered species, the immediate acquisitionof Kubu Village Forest by OFI is crucial to keeping it out of the hands of huge, international conglomerates that are clamoring to clear-cut and convert its rich, biologically-diverse landscape into miles of palm oil agriculture—a monoculture in which few wildlife species can survive. It is a sad scene that has repeated itself over and over all across Borneo with deadly consequences.  But with your help, OFI can protect this critical orangutan stronghold.
